Purpose of the role
Keep Digichange financially healthy, compliant and trusted by partners and funders.
Key responsibilities
- Manage bookkeeping, payables, receivables, payroll and monthly management accounts.
- Prepare budgets, cash-flow forecasts and costing for proposals.
- Ensure tax compliance (KRA, eTIMS, statutory deductions) and coordinate audits.
- Manage grant budgets and prepare donor financial reports.
- Strengthen internal controls and financial policies.
What you'll need
- Degree in Finance, Accounting or Commerce and CPA(K) or ACCA.
- At least 5 years of accounting experience, including grant or donor funds.
- Proficiency with accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks, Sage, Xero).
Nice to have
- Experience in an SME or social enterprise.
- Fundraising or proposal-writing experience.

- Deliver timely monthly management accounts and a clean annual audit.
