Purpose of the role
Make sure what farmers and hubs grow has a market, and that Digichange grows sustainably.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and deliver a sales plan for services, systems and shop products.
- Manage enquiries and quotes from the website, WhatsApp and referrals through to close.
- Identify and contract buyers for farm and hub produce (retailers, hotels, institutions, processors).
- Build and manage a customer pipeline and after-sales follow-up.
- Gather market prices and customer feedback to guide production and product decisions.
What you'll need
- Degree in Agribusiness, Marketing, Business or related field.
- At least 4 years of B2B sales or agricultural market linkage experience.
- Proven record of meeting sales targets.
- Strong negotiation and customer relationship skills.
Nice to have
- Existing network of fresh-produce buyers in Kenya.
- CRM experience.
