Purpose of the role
Get the right quality products to customers on time and at a cost that keeps our pricing fair.
Key responsibilities
- Source and evaluate suppliers locally and internationally; obtain and compare quotations.
- Calculate landed costs including freight, duties and clearing.
- Manage purchase orders, imports, clearing agents and deliveries.
- Maintain stock records and supplier performance records.
- Ensure compliance with KRA, KEBS and KEPHIS import requirements.
What you'll need
- Degree or diploma in Procurement, Supply Chain, Logistics or Business.
- At least 3 years of procurement experience, including imports.
- Membership of KISM or progress toward CIPS is an advantage.
Nice to have
- Experience importing agricultural equipment.
- Knowledge of Alibaba and East African logistics routes.

- Build a verified supplier register and a landed-cost calculator in use for all quotes.
